This Barb Joseph was sold 'a slice of suburban paradise' which is fast becoming a renovator's delight; doesn't know one end of a horse from the other; hasn't been to church since her christening; and feng shui'd her chakras to her meridian lines so that money flows out of her life via her credit card (which can't be right, can it?)

After a parenting time-out Barb resurrected a fledgling comedy career by becoming a finalist in Melbourne's Comedy Knockout 2005 Search for a Funnybone, and with that for encouragement went on to write and perform two comedy festival shows. She now touts for work at being funny in other environments.

 

Currently she's available as an MC for your event, a speaker to entertain your group and has been known to write a bit for the local papers.

 

Apart from minor notoriety in her street for her regular bin-night antics (put the wrong bin out early and see who copies - then correct it under cover of dark) her genuine claim to fame is that she's possibly the only comedian in the southern hemisphere with a PhD (so if the jokes don't work, we just call it a lecture).
